Although I miss seeing you in person, we can meet together digitally. Our life together in Christ is such a source of strength, encouragement, wisdom, and joy. You are beloved in God's sight and very dear to me. I am lifting you daily in my prayers and seeking additional ways that we can stay connected together in Christ.
As we journey from Holy Week, I would like to invite you to join a virtual study together over the next four weeks. We will pursue a guided reading of select chapters from John Stott's famous book "The Cross of Christ." The power of the cross is unchanging.
Our first session focuses on the centrality of the cross. All religions, all movements have a symbol. The central symbol of Christianity is the cross. John Stott helps us to see that this choice reflects the priority of Jesus and offers true hope for the world.
I look forward to being with you in spirit. Simply visit kenwoodbaptist.org Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm.
With great affection in Jesus,
