Marriage is the place where we learn how the gospel shapes our most important relationships. We discover that in Christ we are called to a radical new way of life by the power of the Holy Spirit that uproots our innate self-centeredness. A biblical view of marriage helps us to understand our single years and encourages us to allow the light of the gospel into every relationship. We will be reading Tim and Kathy Keller’s book The Meaning of Marriage in conjunction with this series. A series of messages at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City eventually became the foundation for this book. These sermons have been the most requested over his long and influential ministry. We encourage you to read the book and even listen to the messages along the way.
