The gospel was taught to me from birth by my parents and through the local church in every community where we lived. The Holy Spirit confirmed the reality of this message to me from my earliest memories. I had a deep love for the Scriptures and spent much time in reading. I made a public profession of faith and was baptized at age 12.
I spent my 20s with a group of other young adults who wrote and performed contemporary Christian music and used artwork and photography to teach at events for youth groups and campus ministries throughout the Midwest. In my 30s, I became a peer counselor at my church, which led to obtaining an MA in counseling from the University of Cincinnati.

My husband Dave and I were married in 1986, and we came to Kenwood in 1988.
I received my Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary in 2005. What a joy to be given new tools and insights into the Bible! I was ordained at Kenwood in 2006. My goal is to be a good steward of the gifts and call God has given me to share the Word with grace and truth.
