My wife Janice and I have attended Kenwood for five years. I am one of the Bridges of Faith Sunday School class leaders and am on the Building Committee. I have been active in several other areas, such as the Men’s Bible Study, between Sunday service fellowship, and the Owen House restoration. Janice and I lead a couples Bible Study and Small Group that meets monthly and has been together for 12 years. I place a high priority on studying and understanding Scripture, including its historical context.
Scripture is “God-breathed” and not just for reading, but to ensure we are “equipped for every good work” (2 Tim 3:16-17). Church has always been a part of my life. I was born in Arkansas and moved to Virginia when I was 11. I publicly accepted Jesus Christ as my savior after hearing a clear gospel presentation at our new church. After college, I worked for GE for 12 years and have been with Johnson & Johnson for 10 years. My current role is in new product development for orthopedics. Janice and I married in 2000 and live in West Chester. I enjoy spending time with her, reading, following sports, and playing video games.
