OUR PROGRAMS:

  • Star Kids Tutoring Program – in house tutoring for struggling students
  • Share The Love 2023 – Blessing bags, family holiday Giving Tree
  • Foster Care & Friends Support –Provides wrap-around support for new foster families (meal trains, respite care, prayer)
  • Hope Bags – Sort, prepare and transport hope bags to new foster families, and people in crisis and transition
  • Trauma Care Specialist – Be trained and be a volunteer trauma free
  • Outreach & Community Care Ambassador –Be a friendly face for outreach families/special community events
  • Go & Serve -Serving our community through selected personal and community projects

SERVING PARTNERS:

  • City Gospel Mission –Cook and serve meal for City Gospel Mission on 5th Saturdays of the Month
  • Food Pantry –NEEDS, Fill a bag, Feed A Family bags anytime.

Melody Hamilton oversees Kenwood’s local outreach and community care ministry,  She brings 20 years of experience with serving, connecting, and logistical gifts to Kenwood. Melody focuses on God’s Word, reflecting His service attributes with a Kingdom mindset for God’s glory and purpose.
