Wednesday Evening Groups

Just like the early church described in the book of Acts, we enjoy getting together.  We gather on Wednesday evenings (September-May) to enjoy a meal together and encourage one another in the faith.  A tasty, healthy, and family friendly dinner is offered from 6:00-6:45 p.m. ($5/Individual, $7/Couple, $10/Family).  We offer a variety of discipleship opportunities to both children and adults from 6:45-8:00 p.m. Our choir and praise teams also gather for rehearsal.

  • New - Beginning March 7 - Thessalonians: Before, Now, Later is led by John Bascom as an 8-week class. (224)
  • Sharing Christ with Others is an 8-week class to encourage and equip you to witness, using Christianity Explored materials. Led by Pastor David Palmer, Pastor Scott Burns, and Lydia Davis. (Chapel)
  • Financial Peace University led by John Jordan. This entertaining course looks at why God placed money in our lives. Begins January 17. (226)
  • Worship through Art led by Vicki Swallen and team. Explore scripture, make and share art, and use art to worship and glorify God. No training or skills needed. (101)
  • Choir Rehearsal Not just for seasoned singers. Join others in developing their singing skills and in praising God through song. (Choir Room)
  • DivorceCare led by Chuck and Judy Davis. Practical information and biblical teaching for recovering from divorce or separation. April 18 - July 18. (234)
  • Children age 4 through 6th grade (All classes begin in 211.)  Childcare is provided for children under 4.
    • Communion Education Class for children 2nd-6th grade. Taught by Pastor Sara in Room 206.
    • Children's Choir - Children will worship through singing. The Children's Choir will sing for special worship services. Choir is in Room 211. Children's Choir Director is Erica Bardeau.
    • Christianity Explored for Children for children ages 4 years old to 1st grade. Combined with service activities. Room 209. Led by Emily Shiverski and parents.
