Jesus in Athens Film – Kenwood Theatre

Sunday, July 28, 5:00 PM, with In person introductory remarks by filmmaker, Darren Carlson.

You are invited to a free screening of Jesus in Athens.

Darren Carlson’s remarkable documentary chronicles the experiences of thousands of Muslim refugees from Syria, Libya, and Iraq as they travel on rafts across the sea from their countries to Athens, Greece. The story of what they experience on the way and of how they are received by Greek Christians on the coastlines of Greece will deepen your faith as you view the work of the Lord in present-day Athens.

From fear to love…from darkness to light

Jesus in Athens is written and produced by Darren Carlson, president of Training Leaders International, and is directed by Peter Hansen, an independent filmmaker.

“What would the book of Acts look like in our day? It would look a lot like this documentary. I was not prepared for how much it would stir my soul and stretch my faith. Do your soul a favor and watch it today!”— JASON MEYER / BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH

Theatre tickets are free but required. Please reserve your ticket by going to our website, the Kenwood app, or the clipboards in the Narthex. Overflow tickets are available for the Multipurpose Room at Kenwood Baptist Church.
