A Physician Looks at Crucifixion by Dr. Dennis Sullivan

Join us as we partner with the Christian Medical and Dental Associations to host Dr. Dennis Sullivan.  Dr. Sullivan will speak on crucifixion from a medical perspective.  Given the topic, please note that some details will be graphic.

Dr. Dennis Sullivan is the director of Cedarville University's Center for Bioethics and is a professor of biology. He teaches human biology and bioethics. He received his M.D. from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, before completing five years of training in general surgery. He served as a surgeon in the U.S. Army. Dr. Sullivan and his family worked for twelve years as missionaries with Baptist Mid-Missions in Haiti, the West Indies, and in the Central African Republic. Civil conflict in C.A.R. in 1996 forced their return to the U.S. Dr. Sullivan then joined the biology faculty at Cedarville University where he developed courses in human anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, developmental biology, and bioethics. In 2004, he completed his M.A. in bioethics from Trinity Graduate School.
