NEEDS Student Assistance Drive
NEEDS (North East Emergency Distribution Services) is holding its annual school supplies drive in early August! However, the name was changed to Student Assistance Drive as we are combining School Supplies and HUGSS (hats, undies, gloves, socks, and sweats). Last year, during the pandemic, the donations to schools changed to gift cards from Target, Walmart, Meier, Kroger & Kohls. The gift cards allowed the staff at 17 schools to purchase school supplies, plus personal items such as underwear, socks, soap & shampoo that were urgently needed.
Please consider donating a gift card from one of the locations listed above. You can also write a check to NEEDS & the volunteers will purchase gift cards on your behalf. Donations can also be made by giving through Paypal on the NEEDS website, CincyNEEDS.org. Please drop off the gift cards or checks by Sunday, August 8th, and, Please mark the donation for the Student Assistance Drive.
