"and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.” John 10:16
Encouraging Contributors with Special Needs ﷯The Special Needs Ministry serves to support the meaningful participation of individuals with disabilities and their families in the life of the church. “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me – just as the Father knows me and I know the Father – and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.” John 10:14-16 NIV

Regular church participants who have disabilities or those seeking to become active in the life of our church family may request support from One Flock, One Shepherd. Our ministry’s primary objective is to discover ways to include individuals with special needs into existing church programming. We work to achieve this by exploring available resources and developing the appropriate supports that will empower individuals to become active contributors in the body of Christ.

Persons with disabilities who desire to receive support and families affected by disability are encouraged to seek the assistance of One Flock, One Shepherd. The first step is to complete the Individualized Ministry Profile (link). Then a process of consultation and evaluation will lead to the creation of a support plan to assist in facilitating meaningful participation in the life of the church.
